Ralph Sampson

Ralph Sampson, Senior Vice President/Principal, has been adjusting insurance claims since 1991 and joined GGG/AI in 2011. He started his career in South Africa working for Aegis Insurance Company as a commercial underwriting inspector and also represented Thomas Howell Group (Crawford USA) as an independent adjuster for the insurance companies on their international catastrophe team for several years before changing his career path to solely represent the policyholder. This career path provides Ralph with an advantage of experience, perspective, and insight into the claims handling process. The ability to understand and predict the claims process as seen from the insurance company’s vantage point is a tremendous asset to the policyholder. Ralph has negotiated claims in South Africa, United Kingdom, Mozambique, American Samoa, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Thailand, and throughout the United States and the Caribbean. As an Executive General Adjuster Ralph has extensive experience assisting policyholders with complex building, property and business interruption claims in both the day-to-day and catastrophe environments. Ralph has managed catastrophe teams and adjusted losses in major catastrophic events around the world.

Ralph has represented many clients on commercial property, manufacturing hospitality/lodging and condominium losses, to include Heil Trailer International (Mexico & Thailand), Jack Lehman – Founder Lehman Brothers, Andrew Safran – VP Deutsche Bank, Denny’s Restaurants, McDonald’s, Miami Subs, Wyndham Sugar Bay Resort (USVI), Atlas Model Railroad Inc., Norma Komali, Broward Casting Foundry, LaSalle Hotel Properties, Pan Am Equities, Inc., New York Health & Racquet, Pebblebrook Hotel Trust, Super 8, Comfort Suites, Guesthouse Inn & Suites. Ralph has presented at seminars for such entities as the Mortgage Bankers Association, Tennessee Business Association, and Gallagher Insurance Brokers.
